Meet the Founder
Reggie Selden, Founder and CEO
Reggie is a proud dad to a basketball player. He used the Top Recruit process to get his son seen and recruited by top colleges with excellent basketball programs.
An entrepreneur with a track record of building profitable businesses, Reggie took his passion for helping others and experience in connecting people to found Top Recruit. His goal is to ensure student-athletes and their parents can connect with the right coaches and college teams so they can enjoy a truly unforgettable college experience.
Reggie realized parents and athletes were just waiting around to be found. He thought there had to be a more effective way to get in front of coaches. Analyzing the industry, he realized that personalized approaches by the athletes were the best way to get seen. Not cookie-cutter athlete profile submissions that were a dime a dozen. So, he developed a more personalized method of getting athletes in front of coaches that mattered.
Reggie quickly found that the Top Recruit process worked – even for athletes who weren’t at the top of their sport.
In his first round at Top Recruit, his athletes got responses so quickly that the parents couldn’t contain their excitement. And the athletes didn’t only get responses from the small schools. They got responses from the big schools, major programs, and had coaches reaching out wanting to connect and discuss their future.
